The afternoon was kicked off by each of the ladies giving their govt names, their alias and why she considered herself a Hip Hop Sister. There were teachers, mcs, djs, producers, directors and just lovers of hip hop music. A female dj from Berlin showed up to meet sisters who carry the US torch for women in hip hop.
All in all it was a great way to kick the movement off in the right direction!! Coming to a city near you soon!
