How do you explain to a baby chic or chickadee that you can never get a moment back. Once lived...the moment is gone. Never spend a minute doing something you don't wanna.....Recognize that your time as well as others is extremely valuable. Don't stand people up!!! Do what you say you're gonna doooooo sucka! Ok, sorry if I hurt a few feelings but if you are sensitive to this issue you probably need to switch up your voltage and brighten your wattage. Become what you like to see in others. Be your best and only you know what that is so don't sell yourself short.
On another note, where are the leaders damnit!!! I wanna feel like I'm not alone. I know I'm not! Let's get up! Start a revolution in this hip hop game!!!! Much love to that man KRS 1. He's a new book on the way entitled, "THE GOSPEL OF HIPHOP". I can't wait for it to hit the stands so you all can check it out. I've actually got a copy and it's a walk into a well needed journey. The answer to your question is "there are no leaders" no one is brave enough to be leaders anymore. Parents nwant rappers, athletes, and actors to raise their kids. No one wants to be responsible for the words that come out their mouths. We need to go back to the days where we all looked out for each other. I am the mother of 3 girls I am their leader anything and whomever they come in contact with i make sure they know my girls are royalty and will be treated as such. It all starts at home.
Our Leaders have went astray concentrating on their own deeds in life to many of them are cowards that want the women to do there jobs or bring up there kids taking care of the house while they run the streets with their boys doing what ever is pleaseing to them.
Then come home and try to lay down the rules of the house thinking they own your body or what have you.
Then you have the good men out there that are trying to be a leader but scard to step up to the plate fearing they are going to call cowards or your whoppied/sprung or saying stupid things like oh we see you can't come out your girl is at home type of s---!
Yeah i am a single mom of 2 boys people think i am to hard on men my sister and brothers tells me all the time iam glade you don't have any girls but i feel they want to play they need to pay step up and be a real leader not a follower.
They man enough to provide for their boys then man up and take care of what's yours.
help save some of these kids out here instead of providing them a way to sale drugs,
smoke,robbing,stealing and killing one another.
Stop letting the Grandparents sisters, brothers bring up their kids and get on the road of helping.
I love you Guys that are trying to do the right thing by being apart of the communities helping the people teaching them that there is a better way to life then the one that they are living and for providing options for them.

I have been reading about THE GOSPEL OF HIP HOP coming soon and it makes me excited to hear more of KRS One's expression of spirituality and what it means to Hip Hop culture as a whole. I slept on picking up his last book RUMINATIONS and will have to hunt down a copy. I saw one available for $50 on Amazon! Either way, his passion and direction in hip hop will always remain an influence in my life..
